I’ve got to say, Acquire the fire was truly a top-notch youth event. Unhindered, the praise and worship band was fantastic, there was anointed speakers and drama. From beginning to end, it was a great time. God moved in our group and rekindled the fire in our group.

This was our worship band, Unhindered. You should definitely check out some of their music. They are incredible musicians with an anointing to lead youth into an encounter with God.  

NEVERTHELESS also performed. They were excellent and very “In Your Face”. Definitely take a look at their website.

There were also some other bands that performed.  Phil Joel (also mentioned below) performed, also while the youth leaders were away in a conference, Dooney (Da Priest) and This Beautiful Republic performed.

Ron Luce, the founder of Teen Ministries, his heart for this generation is amazing.  He’s a fantastic speaker and not only that, but he cracked us up when he sang, the “Dream Killer Blues” with Unhindered.

If you’re a Newsboys fan, you may remember Phil Joel.  Phil left the Newsboys when God inspired him to become a youth speaker.  Not only did Phil speak, but he performed a few Newsboys songs.  Our youth group all loved him and were disappointed that he didn’t speak on day 2.  Don’t forget to cheer when  you hear the word “monkey!”

This is Mike Guzzardo, another fantastic speaker who spoke on the teens level and took everyone on a trip to “Pleasure Island”. Mike and Ron tag-team spoke to crowd with fantastic results.

A Drama team performed “The Bema”, the word “Bema” means the Judgment Seat.  It was all about high school kids and how they effect each others lives and what Jesus would say on that last day of judgment.
