The last Friday in February, 2009.  The Vertical Ascent youth group had a Lock-In and 30 hour famine to kick off the creation of a Youth Missions Team.  Truly God has already blessed greatly. 

 

             Currently we have been looking only locally for things we can do.  We are reaching out by helping with farm/yard work, firewood, home repairs and anything else a group of kids can do.

 

March 2009, was our first missions project at Harold and Janet’s house.  Sadly we never took any pictures.  The day was greatly blessed.  We hauled, split and cut firewood,  moved hay bales and helped cleanup after winter. The kids we’re amazing.  Everyone worked in unity and did a fantastic job.  The kids were rewarded with Corndogs and Sloppy Joes and all the Gatorade we could drink. It was a truly wonderful day.
